Bishop E. M. Johnson
Executive Director
Years with the Organization: 9 Years
Duties: As executive director, Bishop E.M. Johnson is responsible for planning and implementing development projects. This includes identifying, negotiating and purchasing property. He also develops the detailed construction specifications or rehabilitation work writeups and monitors construction, project budgets, draw requests and timeliness of project completion. Bishop Johnson manages the organizational operations and budget, human resources matters and public relations.

Frankie Dickens
Project Director
Years with the Organization: 2 Years
Duties: As project director, Frankie Dickens is responsible for coordinating project management services for new construction and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) rehab housing projects. He manages all aspects of rehab projects including but not limited to – 1) identification and acquisition of new project sites, 2) development proformas, 3) site visits, 4) conducting meetings with development team members, 5) asset management consultation and 6) interaction with contractors and vendors throughout the development and rehab process.

Bridget D. Carter
Program Director
Years with the Organization: 1.5 Years
Duties: As program director, Bridget manages the general day-to-day operations and accounting for the organization including providing supervision to staff. She is also responsible for our homebuyers’ program management including identification of qualified prospective buyers and coaching them through their home buying experience, providing financial education and educating buyers on the various home buyers’ financial assistance programs available to them. In addition she is responsible for identifying grant opportunities as well as ensuring grant and funding reporting compliance. In addition she functions as the organization’s internal coordinator for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) activities.

Joanna Hodge
Housing Specialist
Certified Housing Counselor
Years with the Organization: 4 Months
Duties: As housing specialist, Joanna guides the prospective homebuyer through the purchase process from beginning to end. She helps with first-time home buyer financial assistance applications and document submittals and tracks and monitors the mortgage application process for buyers. Joanna also assists with marketing and community outreach for our homeownership program; she is responsible for assisting in identifying and acquiring properties for rehab under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) as well as presale of new construction and rehabbed homes.
